Wizards semble bien décidé à se reprendre après la fuite du spoiler pour la nouvelle phyrexia, puisqu'ils nous sortent le grand jeu en nous sortant un presqu'ARG (alternate reality game, un jeu de piste sur internet) sur leur site, Daily MTG. Ainsi, une adresse mail mystérieuse apparaît sur la liste des colonnes, bengrorot@mail.com. Quand on y envoie un mail, on obtient une petite histoire:
